I do have memory problems, short term mainly, but I couldn't say if that was specifically because of Tourettes. I also have Aspergers, ADHD, OCD and depression so it could be quite a number of things!

How old is your husband? I am 35 and had TS since I was a child.

I have a memory like a seive! My short term memory is really bad at the moment, I have to constantly write lists, I walk into a room and I forget why I'm there! Luckily I'm a creature of habit so the village shopkeeper helps me remember what I need to buy. My poor memory does cause quite a few rows and I do feel quite open to manipulation because of it.

My son has TS &OCD and can be quite disorganised & forgetful at times, but we've recently found out that people with neurodevelopmental disorders can be quite susceptible to having weakness with executive skills (basically, the ability to organise & plan ahead). Fortunately, these skills can be learned. However, if your husband hasn't always been forgetful depression could be a cause; or any recent medication changes?

Yep, I'm on some quite hardcore anti-depressants.

Sieve based memory for me! Been told it's because of some of the comorbid stuff...and also stress!

as far as i know, most if not all of us TS'ers have memory trouble, especially for directions and conversations. although mine have been made worse by the citalopram which i am now slowly coming off.

I would have a hard time paying attention or even remembering what some one said. Mine has gotten worse threw out the years.
