I wouldn't think so - unless you have serious hearing loss too.
It's ability to work vs Continue your current job. Assuming you are currently working have you spoken to your boss or HR? They have a duty to make reasonable adjustments. That could include a change of role. I'm a college lecturer and work part-time hours at the moment. I'm awaiting for final results to rule out neurological problems, but it's all pointing towards Ménières. I'm lucky my boss is extremely understanding, as her partner suffers hearing loss and Tinnitus etc. I get fewer responsibilities too.
Unless it gets significantly worse I'm still able to work thankfully. I just couldn't do full time in the classroom again.

Its an interesting one as I had some 'fun' with the PIP assessor as tinnitus is considered a condition, for me i talked about the impact it had on my mental health and quality of life
All the posts here are very helpful - whilst tinnitus isn't classified as a disability in the classic sense, it is an ongoing condition and can have a fluctuating effect on things like mood, communication ability, concentration, etc. It should be a part of the conversation with an assessor, and certainly considered alongside other conditions which claimants might be living with.
I receive PIP and included T in my application on the basis that it contributes to to and exacerbates another limitation I have though I don't think that, by itself, it would be debilitating enough to make a successful application, at least on my experience of T, although, of course, it could be different for other people.
In one word, 'No'.
