I think many GPs have poor knowledge of tinnitus and need to be educated about it. They should take it seriously, especially when it's affecting someone's mental health. Some hospitals have a 'tinnitus clinic' where they check your hearing and counsel you through tinnitus coping techniques. I think this is where your GP should have referred you, although perhaps referrals can only be made from the ENT department. Maybe you could change doctor and/or submit a complaint to your surgery.

Even many surgery dont accept transfered patients that makes their quality lower coz they can do whatever they want

Try complaining to the Family Practitioner committee. They regulate and oversee GP practices.

So sorry to hear that, it's a very frightening experience , I truly wish you had the same care as me, my Pulsatile Tinnitus started 2 months ago, I was sent for an MR I which was fine but they found a problem with my ear drum and am now waiting for ENT appointment, all you will want is answers , peace of mind is the first step to healing . The Practice Manager as been suggested is a good place to start. I'm very new to this like you but this forum has helped me enormously , I wish you well and will follow your post to see how you get on. Good luck Tough mathew.

Suprise Not, it seems that GPs, have a very limited opinion regarding anything that is not "fixable"or within their perscribed format, in the sense of a specialty.
