Link between migraines and hearing loss

Hi all. I have had tinnitus in my left ear constantly for around 2 years now, I have recently been prescribed a hearing aid for the same ear due to deteriorating hearing . I am interested to know if anyone has suffered migraines down the opposite side as a result of tinnitus/hearing loss as I have experienced these for a number of years and wonder whether this may possibly be attributed to the right ear having to over-compensate for the reduction in hearing in my left ear. Hi, I found your post very interesting, I suffered from chronic migraine since childhood, at one point I had them permanantly and tried all types of medications and even Botox injections, Then in about March 2020 they just dissapeared completely, it was fantastic until october 2021 when I woke up with what I describe as a electric pylon noise in my ears, it has made me suicidal at some points and is still here everyday, I believe that there is a connection and persist in trying to find the correct help . I am looking to see what research is being done at the moment although it is not proving very positive as yet, but I am confident relief will come. Take care.
