It's awful isn't it?

Have you seen a GP yet, might be an explanation for the t. He might refer you to ENT.

Try to stay calm as well, very hard, but the more you listen the louder it gets 😠

Hi, I’ve just signed up myself, had tonal tinnitus for 4 months, absolutely life changing!! But I can say your brain will learn the sound and you will have good days inbeetween the bad days, mine is kicking off big time at the minute, but they say it can be like a ticking clock that you eventually don’t hear anymore. Think mines worse cause I’m full of cold, sleeping is a problem though, don’t know about you? Anyway mate I’m at work so must sign off 👌🏻👍🏻

Bigjoe62 it is getting us all down most of the time but you need to explain more. How long have you had T and what have you done or are doing to fight against it. T is a daily battle for most of us on here but distracting yourself from the T sounds is what you must aim for. Do you have hearing aids and if so are they fitted with masking sounds? These are essential as I find they help me to get through most days. Doing activities at home or going out shopping or for walks also help me as I’m concentrating on surrounding noises and not my T. I also play games on my laptop while listening to radio or watching tv which help me too. In bed at night is worst so I try listening to app sounds on my iPhone. I hope that some of this helps. Lots of good luck!
