Does anyone have an experience with Neuromonics treatment and whether it is offered anywhere in Europe?

Whats euromonics?

I stand to be proved wrong on this, but I think this is just the US version of the neuromodulation treatments offered by The Tinnitus Clinic here in the UK.

Neuromonics you mean. They have an app on the apple app store I see. Huge cost for in app purchases. Until real people stand up in numbers saying these treatments work I will look on it as just another money making scheme.

The treatment - in the general form, not the app - combines counselling and the use of sound. The claim is that these sounds are particularly effective, but this hasn't been proven in a large scale randomised control trial. There's no evidence that tailored sounds (be they frequency matched, notched, played backwards, whatever) are any more effective than your favourite sound/music played at a low level.

Now, for some people, Neuromonics does undoubtably work. the question is - would buying a cheap MP3 player and some relaxing tracks work have worked as well for thousands less?

Best wishes
