Housing Benefit - August Bank Holiday 2015
Please note the changes below to the dates that Housing Benefit payments will be made due to the August Bank Holiday on Monday 31 August 2015. The normal payment cycle will resume in the week commencing Monday 31 August 2015.
Weekly payments
Payments will be sent on 26 August and arrive in accounts by 28 August.
Fortnightly payments
Payments will be sent on 26 August and arrive in accounts by 28 August.
Four weekly payments
Payments will be sent on 26 August and arrive in accounts by 28 August.
Urgent payments
Payments will be sent on 26 August and arrive in accounts by 1 September.
Payments will be sent on 27 August will arrive in accounts by 2 September.
If you receive your payment by cheque, please allow extra time for any postal delays.
Council tenant payment dates are not affected and will show in accounts by Monday 31 August 2015.
