GP tends to be first port of call, especially in my early days, Im late

seventies. When I first had problems in my twenties, known then as

spastic colon, the information was non existance and hasnt really changed

a lot since then. The most useful information I have had has definately

come from other sufferers in particular via the iBS Network.

Thank you so much.

Was known as spastic colon!!!! never knew that!!!

Personally am going out less and less, Bipolar/IBS-D,,, so the Internet is very handy and informative,.

GPs are too busy to be helpful right now in my area. Mayo Clinic website is very helpful for good explanations and latest research.
