The dilly dallying has gone on enough. Look at the so called improved advice from NICE to doctors and primarily GP's who quite frankly on the whole have not got a clue about TB.

It is a worrying fact that Nottingham's eminent Hematologist told me wrongly in 2016 that any TB in the UK exists only in those coming into the country. I myself like thousands of others who are old now had very much contact with TB after the 2nd world war.

As it says in a USA report by a doctor worded "shall we let sleeping dogs lie"? I can say that a massive balls up I fear has taken place with my own TB symptoms and even though I have had and still have mysterious symptoms I am not listened to by my doctors.......

It has got to the stage whereby they closed ranks and will do anything to keep me away from any TB unit. On two occasions since I was 50 lymph nodes became faulty and then again 23 years later. I had open surgery to remove two mesenteric lymph nodes that were probably TB but the most unforgivable item is that NO doctors looked at my previous history of TB so the glands were not checked for TB as they should have been........ Al doctors are no lying to protect themselves should I sue for misdiagnosis.

It is well known that doctors will lie through their teeth if a court action may ensue. Any person in the UK at 70 is now written off & not referred to any TB clinic.

This is why self referral must be in place and is crucial to overcome the diabolical situation

where uneducated doctors are not giving adequate care to TB patients...... It is laughable when the powers that be desire to eliminate TB by a certain date because due to the present thinking or rather unthinking doctors TB will continue to reek havoc on the population on the 'trusting public'. A urologist told me he had my best interest at heart which was a blatant and stupid lie....... he knows full well he is virtually untouchable.
