Hey, again.

I started my medication for active tb from jan 5 of this year. I had a chest xray done yesterday which say" clear on both sides. No bronchopulmonary lesion is seen."

What are your thoughts on it? Please share.

This is excellent news Sahrish123!

Do not stop taking your medication though, as everything is going in the right direction! It means the treatment you are on is working and successfully killing all the bacteria!

It's been only 3 months of my medication and I'm not able to belive that the chest xray is clear. I'm a bit worried too. You know, that tb bacteria spreads too.

Can you please tell what you think?

Please be reassured what the doctors have told you is really good news. As long as you are on your medication with no breaks then you will continue to get stronger and have no more bacteria. Stay positive x

I know how you feel, I didn’t believe I was going to get better either- but I did, and you will too 😄

Hi Sahrish123,

This is good news. It confirms that the TB medication is working. Though I am not a medical professional, it also suggests there is no visible damage to the lungs which is also good news.

Please do continue with your medication though, as there will still be TB bacteria in your body that could come back if untreated.

Best wishes,

Helen
