I had a painful lymphatic node in the right axilla for 18 months when I finally saw a haematologist with it, which he thought to be of no sinister significance. Thinking later turned to lymphoma and an excisional biopsy was proposed. I demanded a core biopsy instead which yielded granulomas, giant cells and caseating necrosis. No acid-fast bacteria could be cultured so my diagnosis was empirical.

I've read your posts with great interest and believe they must be old posts. Never mind that but I have never had a resolution to first a supra clavicular lymphadenopathy in 1990 and mesenteric lymphadenopathy 2014..... I got all my notes from the 1990 episode and found no doctor, surgeon or lab doctor read my previous Tuberculosis historical notes that TB was evidence of 1978.That was why I believe many unanswered questions over decades have never been answered or resolved but this is not of my doing because believe me I have tried and tried hard and eventually wrote letters to each and every doctor surgeon etc so that there was written evidence of their mistakes.

Even though it can be seen as spread out like a history lesson and there is obvious mistakes that can be seen to have been make they continue to fobb off and lie yes lie about procedures and the lab results that get a patient going round in circles not knowing which way to turn.

On the internet it says that a report to NHS England may result in a rectification of the problem with a lot of faffing about and serious attention to the patient but I myself keep an open mind on that one. Will they come clean? I really aught to write a book siting many names in my fiasco to bring the worms out of the woodwork but I think they would keep their heads down and not challenge me re libel because all my letters are valid and true.

they prove they all but one young lady registrar (urol) out of 30 doctors did the right thing and even she did not treat me 100% but got the antibiotic she scripted for me by getting the antibiotic correct (ciprofloxacin) but too low a dose. One of my GP's got it right by doubling the dose to 1000mg bid but cancelled her 3 months script down to one week. Mimms says 28 days cipro for prostatitis so I ordered 2 months supply from a pal in Spain.( Otc)....

3 years later when all GP's blanked me =no we won't give you any antibiotics..... That 30 days of Cipro yet again cured all of my diabolical symptoms that could well have been tuberculosis bacterial infection........ Lies in abundance now to date because a lab which received a directive from a TB doctor stated check Acid fast stain and TB in any of 'my' biopsies....... They took two biopsies that were not tested as directed now they say they want a further biopsy 9th March from my tubes to my gall bladder.

I ask myself due to the fact that they do not seem to desire finding TB in any biopsy they take from me since 1990 will they stick the knife in me if they get me to agree to another biopsy that is supposed to be for TB? MY trust has disintegrated totally and I do not trust them now.

I notice a glimpse of impatience within them when they phone.... they have other important people to speak to etc..... and still the lies= their was no sign of TB without a tb test re acid fast staining being carried out!

well, im not sure really how long but we know it was years! I was in and out of hospital from being 17 with the same problems but nothing was found to be wrong asnd docs never got to the bottom of it. I aslo had 2 children and again was in and out of hospital with problems and lots of pain but again nothing was found. Then in 2007 a nurse from my gp's surgery tested me for lots of things and found i had TB of the kidneys! finally i knew i was ill and it was not in my head!
