I had/have anorexia Athletica and unfortunatly you get the same thing in the beginning as your body isn't used to having food to help it and you body goes into overdrive and your eyes are the last place to get what they need therefore causing the pain, pain killers don't always work (but that might just be me!) it should start to get easier soon, if not see your GP or your optition they will be able to help you more

All the best

Just a thought. I notice my headaches (and eye ache) can be triggered off by the stress of eating food because of fear. In other words there could be a psychological factor. Are you aware of getting tense whilst eating? If you do then it can help to deliberatly try to relax those muscles.

Thankyou, for taking the time to reply to me.

I get headaches anyway as I don't sleep much!, but seem to worsen when I eat.

I think both of your answers. Are probably what I'm experiencing.

I'm still battling so maybe in the future these symptoms may disappear.

fingers crossed
