I've been on beclametasone, seretide, after seeing a consultant I'm on
Symbicort
SMART. The
symbicort
seems the best fit, but I am still having problems.

Not sure if want....
I paid the equivalent of £75 for everything (including Ventolin and
Symbicort
as well)....it would be waste to not give it a go...right??? If it doesn't work I'm gonna pay a similar amount to see a different doctor...my poor wallet T_T

Seretide to Symbicort
I just wondered if anybody had developed a worse cough, especially in the morning, when switching from seretide 250 to
symbicort
400/12. I changed the inhalers just over a week ago and seemed to be feeling worse.

Travel to Thailand anyone?
I am on
Symbicort
200 once a day. Asthma is relatively new for me and I am learning to cope. I am not too aware of my triggers yet but a last trip to Cairo, based on my GP advice, was an utter disaster for my asthma, hence why I am so concerned! Any advice would be super welcome.

When hospital is needed
Since Monday, I have been on 6 steroid tablets, 4 daily doses of
Symbicort
and have used up an entire Salbutamol inhaler. I haven't slept for almost a week, I rattle and wheeze, I cough until I think I am never going to breathe again and I really don't like this scary asthma game.

Pulmicort or Flixotide
Having been on Flixotide for many years i notice that
Symbicort
seems to be used by a lot of people this has a built in reliever and preventer. Has any body found that changing from flixotide as helped them because it does nothing for me these days, but doc said it was the best.

Symbicort or Flixotide/Oxis
After three months of
symbicort
400/12, two puffs twice daily. I am not sure that i am any better than i was when on the flixitide/oxis. Is it a case of what suits one dont suit the other. I thought flixotide was supposed to be the best. Does any body seem to do better on one that the other.

sedretide and symbicort
Doc told my 21 year old daughter to take seretide and
symbicort
, singular at night time and bricanyl when needed. have taken
symbicort
before but not the same time as seretide together . Is this normal practise because i was led to believe its one or the other. But who do we ask.

hospital admission
They plan to stop flix and serevent and replace with
symbicort
twice day and add in theophyline tabs. I don't know how long Sean will be in hospital as his con said he will be kept in until they are happy there is no more airway inflammation.

Holidays, asthma and lots of triggers
They have upped his
symbicort
dosage to 1600mg per day. Does anyone else have a big mixture of triggers like this? We are supposed to be going on holiday shortly but I am worried about a long flight, has anyone got any tips? Viv
