getting worried about the amount of meds daughter is on
My daughter is 11 years old and brittle asthmatic but I am just worried about the amount of meds she is on after having another tablet added in. I was just wondering if this is normal for a brittle asthmatic to be on. She is on :- Seritide 125 Salbutamol Methotrexate Uniphyllin Prednisolone (been on

Out-of-hours doctor has just said that my son's asthma is ""a little brittle"" - help!
Have just gotten back from the out-of-hours GP (my son's usual timing for a trip!). His asthma's gone everso slightly out of control since the hayfever season has kicked in. I've been back to the GP and the resp nurse in the last couple of weeks and he's started in flixonase nasal spray. This has helped

chest infections, whats 'normal'?
My 7yod was diagnosed with asthma autumn last year. I'd taken her to the docs with yet another chest infection and explained that I wasn't happy for her to keep taking antibitics without knowing why she was getting so many URT infections. A peak flow diary was kept and seasonal asthma was the diagnosis

Hi all I post occasionally on the boards - usually when my asthma had slipped out of control or I have some questions .... But, for once it's none of that.... In February (left alone while my dh was at the pub) I entered the ballot for the great north run... I have run a little before - did a 10k

Hi, I've been nosing about this forum for a while. If you can read through the background to my question about theophylline that'd be fab. Brief history. Have had asthma since approx 3 years old am now 36. Past 5 years asthma has gone from what I'd say pretty typical asthma is (low dose steroid

Nose bleeds
Hey I'm on nasonex for allergic rhinitus and have found over the last month or so I've been getting nose bleeds. Not bad ones, but small ones which I think must normally be higher up in my nose as normally it goes down the back of my throat a bit or I'll wake up having had one. Anyway, I got these on

Congestion
I use the over the counter nasal congestion which i use it all the time because i learned it gives a rebound effect, i have tried
flonase
which is the only one that helped me get off of the other. But then when i get a cold i am back to congestion and the cycle starts all over.
