Novovirus
Just had a unique experience due to Novovirus closing chest wards, stayed on a ward that was crashed open hence at first there was only beds! No tables, lockers, water jugs or more worringly enough nebulisers. I was ok because i have my nebs via O2 but 1 nebuliser for 18 patients is a bit scary. The

Venting for a moment...(warning this is long)
I feel so bad whinging here, as I know many of the members here have much much more severe asthma than what I've got. I caught a cold a week ago, started with a sore throught on Monday, Tues the runny nose, no fever just slightly elevated ( 37.5-37.7). Wednesday morning I had increasing asthma symptoms

Atrovent
Sorry if this has been answered before but I had a look and couldn't quite find what I was after in the other Atrovent posts. Just been prescribed this by GP, it tastes awful but seems (just on a couple of puffs) to be doing at least something! Label says 'two puffs when symptoms' and I know it works

Feel like I failed because I'm on pred. AGAIN
Hi everyone, I just joined today. It seems like you have a really nice forum going here with lots of support. I'm from the US, but have been looking for a place that I can talk about my asthma where people will understand, and this is the best forum I've seen. So glad to be here. Here's my story briefly

Information required about Atrovent
I am currently struggling with my breathing at the moment although I have used all my medication and this evening my peakflow is 100. This question I have is, does anyone else use more that the required dose of an inhaler when suffering with asthma flare up. I am trying to avoid going to A&E this late

Newly Diagnosed
Hi Everyone I gave up smoking after 30 years on 1st August this year and within three weeks of being smoke-free, I had my first asthma attack :-( I have Atrovent at night and also have a Salbutamol Reliever during the day if I need it. Which I've needed quite regularly recently after a big attack.

Asthma attack and getting used to neb
Hi all, So I had an asthma attack at work yesterday. I took for puffs of my rescue, and then two more puffs of atrovent a while later. Quite frusterated at the moment. It's very hard to work when I suddenly can't breath. At the moment I'm taking singulair, a steroid inhaler, and xopenex/atrovent nebs
