Am I the only angry person?

I keep seeing the partying youngsters in the news and it gets me so bloody angry. What the hell is wrong with them?! Just a few generations ago we had WW1 and the Spanish Flu.

How are we supposed to teach a generation of selfish, spoiled overly self-confident idiots that the world is not here to serve them? It's so frightening to think that they will be bringing up the next generation.

I'm off to scream somewhere!

No you’re not alone. It makes my blood boil too seeing party after party.

It’s not helped by the cov-idiots adults who do the same thing, or who downplay covid or straight up disbelieve in it.

Feel free to let your steam off here! I know I get more stressed and tense when I hear about it and we all know those aren’t good things for us chronic pain warriors!

I don’t think your alone either. Having spent the best part of last year shielding I still find it very very annoying that people still can’t stick to the rules and look out for their fellow humans. Today’s society does seem to be very much every person for themselves. There was a great sense of community spirit during the first few months of lockdown but this seems to have all but dwindled away again, sadly.

Keep doing what you need to do to feel safe as there’s nothing we can do to effect the behaviours of others. I’ve learned that there’s very little point in saying anything either as you just get met by a tirade of verbal abuse more often than not.
