Can I ask if anyone of you with chronic pain have tried yoga? I really want to have a go, not only for the exercise/stretching, but also for the relaxation and the brain for relaxation.

At the moment (well before lockdown), my go to exercise was swimming and I would try to go at least twice a week, but more if I could.

I don’t know if ld be able to do yoga as I find it difficult getting down onto the floor, and even harder to get back up again........imagine a tortoise on it back, and that’s what I look like 😂🐢

I don’t have a lot of strength in my legs at all, so any info would be really interesting.

Michelle 😊

I used to do Astanga yoga when I was hale and hearty but I struggle with it now... basically anything that involves getting on and off the floor is tricky. I like Tai Chi or Qi Gong as it’s a lot of the same principles... slow gentle movement but it’s a lot less stressful on my body. And you can be really mindful during it to... its can be invigorating or calming or restorative. A good alternative.

If you find a good yoga program please share! I’d be really interested!
