What are the best clothing options you have found for hiding your diaper?
From my experience, first make sure you have the right size. the made for men versions are definitely more discreet; and, wear regular underwear briefs over diaper/pull up to hold them more closely. And not a big deal if someone notices
Someone on this site recommended wearing pants one size bigger. Also try wearing regular underwear over the diaper.
Thanks for the input. Much appreciated 😊
Try wearing stretchy synthetic pants in a dark color that are loose fitting. Like the Wrangler ATG pants. They make a lot of different styles and the fabric noise tends to cover up the crinkle of the diaper.
Thanks. I just got Duluth fire flex pants bigger size. Seem to be similar
Luckily I live in a cold wet country so I can wear a long coat all year round.I thought loose yoga trousers where great for hiding my pads until my granddaughter started to notice that I had a mono-bum as she calls it, sure enough when I had a look in the mirror the outline of my pad was very obvious.
If you wear your pants one or two sizes up, it hides the bulge. Also, if you don't mind the fact that it resembles a garment that infants wear, adult sized body stockings with snap crotches work wonders in keeping everythng tucked and hidden, so no one is the wiser even if your shirt rides up. I've been wearing thicker cloth diapers to work, and the bulge is much less noticeable taking these steps than it is with tighter fitting pants. Its normal to feel really self conscious when you first start having to wear full fledged adult briefs, but I can promise you that people are not staring at your crotch to see if it's thick or not. Nobody has that amount of time on their hands. They are much more likely to notice a diaper peeking out the top of pants or wet pants than a slight bulge. And if they do notice something, most adults have the decorum to not say anything, but kids are another matter. I have had more than a few kids comment on it. I just take it a s a teachable moment to break the myth that only babies wear diapers.
I find wearing a onesie {body sock} works great for me when I am at work
