What could be the cause .. sorry it's a question
There could be many causes. If your partner feels its different to normal - if there is odour it could be bacterial vaginosis. If thicker and possibly white or grey, candida. The only way of knowing is for her to do some tests. If either of you are seeking sexual health check ups , and in the UK, during COVID the recommendation is to do online testing if available in your area. Its free.
Sexual health testing online will only test for STI's however - not for candida or BV. There are some tests you can purchase in pharmacies for these.
Thrush .
