That's awful and outrageous discrimination. I am sorry to hear that.

STOPPED WORKING , GOT A NEW JOB .,LESS MONEY , LESS STRESS, LESS DINNERS OUT, LESS CLOTHES BUYING ...BUT HAPPY ....MOST PEOPLE THAT DO NOT HAVE THE OPPORUNITIES THAT I HAVE HADARE HAPPY WITH SO LITTLE THAT I TRY TO EMULATE THEM AAND IT WORKS...

It did not initially affect my career, kept on the same job & pay scale. I did however retire some years later due to it affecting my health. I was a Duty Control Manager in a busy ambulance emergency control working long hours on shift work.

I have altered how I structure my working day. I see clients earlier in the day and do admin later when my fatigue levels are higher. I am fortunate that my job allows me this autonomy and flexibility.
