Short term I can see why guys say no, it's been over 6 years and I think it is one of the therapies that have actually helped!

Perhaps "natural erections" should be more rigorously defined. FYI - I answered "A." above, but my "interpretation" of "natural erections," was, "and now have an erection as long as I have taken Cialis or Viagra and have sufficient stimulation. Admittedly, its not as rigid as before surgery, but its stiff enough to penetrate about 50-60% of the time."

Each person is going to have a different experience with the pump based on a number of factors, including: whether they received radiation or surgery, what kind of surgery was performed, how experienced was the surgeon, was the surgeon able to spare one or both nerve bundles, or not able to spare either side? That said, I had robotic assisted surgery, one side spared, highly experienced surgeon. I attribute a lot of my recovery to the pump, as the surgeon recommended it to ensure daily blood engorgement, to mimic our naturally occurring nocturnal erections while t he nerves healed. I actually enjoyed the time I spent using the pump, but that may be because my instructions included alternating between pump and manual massage (masturbation). Turns the whole thing into sex play, albeit solo. Time to get in touch with your penis again (think, being 14-15 again but no one should be banging on your bedroom door asking what you are doing in there alone.)
