No adverse reactions of any kind during or after 9 weeks (45 sessions) of RapidArc (IMRT).
I had radiation in the spring of 2014. Bleeding and clotting began in the fall of 2016. I was in and out of the hospital from the end of September to mid November of 2014. I had periodic CBI, but it didn't work. I was hospitalized toward the end of October for a week with full CBI, then followed in January and February of this year with Hyperbaric Oxygen Therapy for 6 weeks. I recently had my follow-up with my urologist and was given a clean bill. So far, so good.
NO blood in urine either before or after the EBRT portion of my therapy. My brachy caused just a few days of blood in urine but a few weeks to clear in my semen.
