In alot of back and hip pain and only between 9 & 13 weeks pregnant, it started on wed for an hour and then has been worse today

Have you had any serious back problems or injuries in the past?

Its a little bit soon (at 13wks) to be feeling so much pain, the only thing i can think of is it could possibly also be your blood pressure.

Notify your G.P as soon as possible & hopefully they're be able to refer you.

I had very bad back pain and hip pain early pregnancy, for me it was due to training myself to lay on my left side so my hip was so painful, I adjusted how I slept, and still sleep propped up.

It is safe to take paracetamol at a normal adult dose also I use heat patches that help

Also your body is producing relaxin which starts to soften your ligaments, google it very interesting

sounds normal with pregnancy but if you are worried you should go to gp. Above comment from skyblueboston is very true and typical in pregnancy and symptoms should ease up a bit as the weeks go by and your body gets used to being pregnant. Get your blood pressure checked just to be on safe side. Gp can refer you to physiotherapist if really bad. Also a warm bath can help with pain and gentle swimming can help tone your muscles around your back.

Got to the point were i had to give in and take paracetamol and its helped but got a full 12 hours sleep.
