Hello everyone. I am pregnant and thought I was getting pzifer. Any side effects with moderna? I don't know anyone who received this one.

Thank you

I had my first moderna jab just before getting pregnant, and had a sore arm and felt a bit rough the evening I got it but woke up fine the next morning, sore arm lasted a few days. Had my second at 9 weeks pregnant and they advised that most people feel worse for the second one but that I probably wouldn't notice if I was exhausted from the jab since I'm exhausted anyway! My sore arm lasted almost a week and I felt like I had the flu for about 24 hours starting the evening I got the jab, which wasn't super fun. My husband didn't feel as bad as me, not sure if I felt worse because I was pregnant or because I probably have a lower immune system than him anyway. Definitely was worse the second time around but I just took paracetamol and slept a lot, very glad I booked it on the weekend so I didn't have to work though!

Thank you for this.

Had 1st jab at 32 weeks and just had a sore arm. Trying to find somewhere to give me the 2nd one before baby comes as would rather feel rough - if I’m going to - without a newborn to look after too. But the minimum 8 weeks is post baby.

I also had moderna, first at 22 weeks, next at 30 weeks (I'm 33 weeks now). First jab had a sore arm few days and was super tired for a couple of hours. 2nd one my arm was sore for a shorter time but felt like I had flu for about 24 hrs. Just slept it off. The following afternoon it was like a switch went off in my body and I was better instantly.
