Baby's humerus and femur measuring short at 20 week scan

We went to out 20 week scan a couple of weeks ago but found out babies humerus and femur are measuring below the third centile. We was given an appointment for two days later with out hospitals centre for fetal care. They did another scan and confirmed that all babies long bones in the arms and legs are measuring short, however everything else seems to be fine. They did offer an amnio test which we refused as there is a chance of miscarriage. Have to go back in a coupl of weeks for another scan as signs of skeletal dysplasia could be more prominent. Has anyone else experienced this???

Hiya,

I haven't been through this, but I remember reading this post a while back, which you may want to read:

It sounds as if sometimes babies are a bit slower in growing? Hope the other scan goes well X
