Pacemaker or no Pacemaker

I have been advised by one electro Dr that I need a pacemaker because of severe bradycardia. My heart rate can go as low as high 20's while sleeping. My heart has also stopped for 8.2 seconds during sleep. Either one has produced no side effects at all. In addition, I haven't had one side effect such as fainting, dizziness, fatigue or anything while being awake. I am very active and stay busy from 7am-9pm. I usually do not sit down till after my shower around 9pm. In bed at 10pm.

My own cardiologist believes I do not need one yet. He says when the time comes that you are having some issues during your waking hours, that's when we move to get a pacemaker.

Has anyone received a Pacemaker without having any daytime side effects from Bradycardia?

Thank you

I had a stent put in and was told after the fact that I didn't need the stent with the pacemaker. That's my experience besides I had slowww and fassstttt heart rhythms prior to the pacemaker. It's been 16 years now and no problems whatsoever.
