Talk on positivity after oesophageal cancer

Hi everyone

Just wanted to let you know about a little do we've organised in Nottingham on Tuesday August 9th, we being John & Candy Talbot, founders of the Grantham and East Midlands branch of the OPA.

Sir Geoffrey Boycott has agreed to talk to us over lunch at Trent Bridge cricket ground. His cancer story is well publicised and we felt that, with his Yorkshire grit, he was likely to be inspiring and motivational.

We're selling tickets at a subsidised rate of £15 per head (we didn't want to price out the less well off from our group). We hope to make up the shortfall from a sponsor (you are of course welcome to pay the full amount of about £25 a head).

Full details on 01476 571599 or to opagems@hotmail.com

Hope to see one or two of you there.

John & Candy
