Wow congratulations, :-) well done for sorting out your future career too. I wasn't much older when I had my first baby I'm now pregnant with number three age 27. It's a fantastic life changing event. To know that you're a parent is the greatest feeling in the world and the sense of care and responsibility is massive. The child will always look to you for advice and comfort and understanding. Don't be scared be happy you seem to be on the right track. Good luck with everything

Hi Luke,

First of all, congratulations! It's very natural to be feeling nervous now. It might help to read some information about pregnancy and parenting from Dad's point of view, such as nct.org.uk/pregnancy/dads-v... and nct.org.uk/parenting/dads-v...

Please feel free to use this forum as a resource for any questions or concerns you have along the way - everyone is happy to support you and give you a listening ear.

We also have the NCT helpline on 0300 330 0700 if you ever find you need to talk.

Hope this helps and hope we'll be hearing more from you along your journey to fatherhood.

Best wishes,

Alice x
