Can I be pregnant? After being 9 days late I started bleeding but it didn't last long.

Alright, so I was expecting my period on the 15th of March but It didn't come till the 24th March in the middle of the day.Which is like a two day period. When I woke up this morning I practically didn't have any blood when I wiped and it was like light light brown and almost nothing of it. Also, my period was pretty light these couple of days, didn't really need pads, maybe the really small pads, which is rare. Can I be pregnant? My period has never been late nor this light nor this short, maybe one day late but 9 days late, never.

Ive only just found out i am pregnant myself for the first time and obviously dont know everything but the bleeding i had was the exactly the same as you have described and that was when i was 5 weeks pregnant,the midwifes said it was most probably an implantation bleed! Which is a good sign of the pregnancy starting of well! Have you taken any tests?

I took one Saturday morning the day before the bleeding started and it was negative. I am just so lost on what's exactly going on with my body. It's rare for me and my husband. My period has never been this late. How far a long were you when you tested positive? I read that I might have to wait a week after implantation to get a more accurate result?
