What's safe to eat and what's not
Firstly well done, 3 days is amazing and I say this as an ex smoker. Its not easy but you'll feel better and you'll be richer.
My wife carried on smoking after I gave up and its torture. I once said if I was getting of heroin you wouldn't leave needles and scag lying around!
Firstly ban smoking from the home, you want it smoke free for the baby and your partner should quit or maybe get them to try a vaporizer.
In the end point out that while they have a choice the baby doesn't and they should want the best for them.
Best of luck and if you need support, message me!
Nhs choices website has a lot of info on the food stuff in pregnancy. It's a big list no raw eggs, raw meat, unpasteurised cheese, mould ripened cheese, pate, limit some fish, bean sprouts. Basically you are avoiding anything that could give you food poisoning. Also no alcohol and limit if not cut out caffeine.
Hopefully your partner can be sympathetic to you giving up and gives some support in also trying to give up.
Well done for quitting smoking. Please try to ban smoking in your house.
To reduce risk of food poisoning avoid runny eggs? Raw fish, brie and Stilton cheese.
