It's so exciting isn't it! For the first 8 weeks of my pregnancy all I wanted to eat was onion rings! Can't stand them now lol! x

Lol Aw that's horrible. I was lucky and didn't have sickness at all. But lots of the ladies on here did/do so will share your woes x

Don't panic, you'll soon pick it all up, and there's loads of info and advice available. I signed up for the regular emails on NHS Choices website and found those really helpful. And the Kaz Cooke book, Duffers guide to pregnancy was good (I was given a load of pregnancy books, that was my favourite).

I'm not surprised you've gone off cheese. Bland food tends to be a bit easier, and just try little amounts. The sickness is horrible! Hope it doesn't last too long for you. You do need to keep hydrated though, so if you're not keeping water down, might be worth having a chat with your doctor.

Good luck!

Aww thank you. My friend told me join this forum. So glad I did now. The husband is fantastic bless him but don't want to nah him too much because he hasn't experienced pregnancy himself he never knows what to say lol. He has 2 boys tho but says he doesn't remember much of that haha... X

sorry to hear this, i had severe morning sickness with first one for 22w and was admitted to hospital on few occasions, this time it was not so bad but fist few months all i wanted was realy spicy stuff, chicken wings and chips with chilly and mayo and pizza with jalapenos and sour skittles, now i am at the end i cant even think about it, but still like my spicy stuff but cant eat as i have really bad heartburn, only butter milk helps. hang in there, my mum said that if you have bad morning sickness it will be boy, she was right,

bad morning sickness - boy, mild -girl. i am lucky as i always wanted first boy and second girl. my little boy showed up so quick, girl she's taking her time and giving me so much grief. my doc says i am in first stage of labor since Sunday, and apart from back pain getting worse still does not feel that she'll show up soon.

I had morning sickness for 9 months morning and night and I hav a little boy so tht wasn't true in my case lol x

I had spicy cravings at one point and was eating curries and hot lime ppickle by the jar! That was a damn good time in my pregnancy lol x

Congratulations! Try and eat little and often, if you can. I haven't been too bad with sickness, but I went from being vegetarian/nearly vegan to really liking meat...and completely off peas and tinned chickpeas! At the moment I love clementines, haha.

When I feel queasy, I have a ginger nut biscuit, which I eat slowly, or a polo mint!

I hoe the sickness eases soon. As some of the ladies have said on here - if you can't even keep water down, then see your G.P X

Try a lemon and lime fizzy drink. I existed on the stuff when my sickness was bad.

Congrats on pregnancy exiting times!I feel your pain I really suffered with morning sickness up 2 16 weeks couldn't even look at food or water n only thing I could manage was chips n plain crisp (healthy I know :) )

I drank loads of milk through the rest of my pregnancy n oranges or anything orange related even just a tiny bit made me sick and I loved oranges before weirdly my lo is now 3 months old n I still can't have oranges had half a glass of fresh orange juice a few weeks ago thinking it would of passed and threw within 5 min crazy!

But believe me its all worth it once there here i had a terrible pregnancy/labour but every time I look at my angel id go through it all again in a heart beat! :)
