I've had ET since I was 6 (learned to write two handed) so year of diagnosis is misleading. It merely reflects my impatience with my condition. The diagnosis was pointless and it turned out to be damaging

Had it for years before diagnosis.

Loads of us on here then ? Vote split 50/50 on age. Unanimous on its relevance

I think it is a new group on Health Unlocked, it may become more relevant when others join, here’s hoping!

I began having tremor in my late 20s. My mother had it as well. I was diagnosed in my 40s. It has gotten worse as I’ve aged.

I have had it since early gradeschool. Diagnosed in adulthood. Before that everyone thought I was nervous and was surprised at what I undertook, like public speaking and leadership roles. People did not understand that it had nothing to do with fear or shy behavior. Especially in a female.
