my son is 4 and has exzema.Today dr diagnosed impetigo too on his face. he has got bacterial cream. can he go to birthday party tomorrow?

Hi pancakegirl,

Your son must have been using his cream for 48hrs (2 days), and his impetigo sores must have dried and stopped blistering or crusting. If his sores are still weeping he mustn't go to the party. This is a sign that the impetigo is still infectious.

thanks for that. it is very helpful. i just hope that it is not infectious otherwise we are in for a major tantrum but i know it is nothing in comparison with infecting other children!

Hi, be cause of your comments re eczema and impetigo, it sounds Like what happened to my daughter. I would suggest you read the info at itsan.org just to make sure.
