Sensory impairments and how to get support for both adults and children with adhd and autism. Is there a service out there to enable people to obtain a detailed report? The NHS OT reports do not address the sensory impairment side of things.

I’d like to see a forum for those of us whose sons, daughters or other relatives have moved out of the family home either into supported living or other residential setting. I’m still very much involved with all aspects of my sons life even though he’s been living away from home for 15 years. I’m considered by some to be a ‘former’ carer but that term is usually assigned when the cared for person has died which isn’t the case for people like me. I’m not looking for a new title or category but some recognition that even though our loved one no longer lives with us we are still caring albeit in a different capacity and have issues we’d like to discuss and experiences we’d like to share with others in the same position.
