I was originally told it was an infection, then a granuloma
I had a small lump on my arm which was below the surface. The doctor told me without even examining it she knew exactly what it was- the vein was infected. When I said I had been on the internet & all I could see was cancer she gave me the you're here with one hand on the desk & cancer is here with the other hand raised well above the desk analogy. To compound her diagnosis mistake she put me on antibiotics which I didn't find out until much later was incorrect even if it was an infected vein. I am now stage 4 & on immunotherapy.
I was told the mole on my stomach was a basal cell. Turned out to be malignant melanoma stage 2
