1. Accept that you might need help from your loved ones from time to time. They want to give it to you. Let them do that. They feel otherwise helpless.
2. Surround yourself with positive, beautiful people and things. Be one, too. What we exude we get back tenfold. It's not just about healing our bodies. Our hearts and minds need to be cared for also.
3. Eat well. We went a little crazy with this one at first, but I believe it played a huge part in my overcoming the disease. I drank oxygenated water, took supplements, ate every vegetable under the sun; did all I could to get my whole body ready to fight. Fuel yourself, it's a marathon.
