Will you continue to wear your face mask?

As of 19 July, face coverings in shops and public transport are no longer a legal requirement in England but will you continue to wear yours. If so in which settings?

In some places, yes, partly because it has become normal to do so and would seem strange not doing it. Furthermore, there seem to be a lot of situations where you are still asked to wear a mask. I don't want to upset anyone by not doing so. Having said that I travelled into NHNN in London yesterday for a update of the MIN-102 trial. This meant wearing a mask basically all day, in taxis and in hospital, and that wasn't fun in the heat. Furthermore for some strange reason masks in (long distance) taxis seem to intensify the travel sickness feeling. Unsure why, but pulling it off my nose for a few seconds was a significant relief

Thanks for taking the time to reply. It does seem like face masks have become part of the norm, when heading out the door one of the essential items to remember.

It’s good to hear your experiences. It does seem interesting that although it’s not legally required, as you said, a lot of places have kept them in place. They are hard to wear for long periods of time, I’ve never worn them in a moving vehicle so it’s interesting to hear how it made you feel.

How has everyone else’s experiences been?

Even though I’ve been vaccinated! I will still wear my mask. Also I just read we’re over a dozen of vaccinated people hear in the state of Tennessee have gotten Covid and several have succumb. This Delta variant is very very serious and people still to this day aren’t taken it serious at all!

That's interesting to hear about the situation in Tennessee. I guess it's important to remember that the vaccination isn't 100% effective in preventing you from getting covid

I don’t wear mine in my vehicle, however if it’s a Lyft or any other public transportation I will wear one, as most require that you do so.

I will be continuing to wear my face mask when walking into shops and on public transport.

I am really comfortable wearing a face mask now.

I’m comfortable wearing mine as well. Especially seeing them become fashionable and all.😍

Thanks for sharing! I guess we've got so used to wearing them now, it doesn't seem any different. Has anyone noticed other people wearing face masks still? If so is it in particular settings?
