In the video Zack Pemberton - Whiteley our Advocacy Director is joined by Professor Steve O'Brien and CML patient Nigel Deekes as they discuss and answer questions about how COVID-19 is affecting chronic myeloid leukaemia (CML) patients.
I am a bit confused. I work for the NHS and am living in a hotel to protect my daughter with AML. She has just been discharged from hospital as she has coronavirus. Her consultant has told her she can go to the park, go to shops . She is still positive for coronavirus. (I think she had a tiny dose). They had to stop her chemo, and hopefully, as soon as she is negative for C19 she can restart chemo. How can someone in the top risk category go to the park or to the shops?
