I use first defence spray before shoppung etc
I use antibacterial hand gel, many times a day - especially after lavatory visits.
I wipe the handles of shopping trolleys with antibacterial wipes as they are covered in germs and I am neutropenic
Raw garlic helps me keep infections at bay in winter 😁. Also high dose Vitamin C and Black seed oil. Although I do other cleanses / fasting / juicing / detoxing .....
However one needs to be under the supervision of an expert Naturopath to follow this route but It really works for me. I have had CLL for 13 years and for 12 years with the above regime did not get flu / coughs / colds ...
Then I decided to take a break for 1 year and ended up in hospital (May this year) with Staphylococcus A / Pneumonia / Anaemia/ Neutropenia / Thrombocytopenia
I am now back on my regime with non CLL ers around me coughing and sneezing!
Living a more or less normal life with Lymphocyte count close to 200 . Haemoglobin 9.5. Neutrophils 1.5.
..... and counting my blessings.
😊
I have had a lot of urinary, eye and gum infections.
I use (non plastic) baby wipes after a No.2.
Wipe both eyes night and morning with a tissue run under the hot tap.
Brush teeth night and morning and use floss at night.
So far so good (ish) !
Sorry Nick, could not see box to add comment. I also ask folks in groups/social events if they have colds, coughs etc to stay a distance from me. For Christmas parties I email reminders to all though most know me and just need a gentle reminder.
have a good Christmas buddy
Marc (UK Sparky)
I use Vicks first Defence and Nasalguard cold and flu block (from Boots) when on public transport or near anyone with cold or flu
