Hi I am not going to be much use I am afraid as I am useless on the medical side although I have CLL. If you are based in India I expect they might have different medical approaches to treatments as well,
I have a friend in the USA, also with CLL, and I know their approach was different there.
Also we are all very special unique beings with our own medical histories, family histories, symptoms etc. which I expect are all taken into account.
However I was struck by the bond and support you have as a couple.
Blood cancers definitely effect all the family and I think a spouse/carer's role is the toughest role and you are the unsung hero.
I expect that you share all the emotional feelings and thoughts and you are also making sure the practicalities get sorted behind the scenes.
Not many people ask how your are doing.
Please ask for help and accept it.
My best wishes to you and your husband.
Look after yourselves and be kind to yourselves.
Hi, What a journey! To b honest, the thing I have learnt the most since starting the journey with my husband who has CLL and head and neck cancer, is that every case is different, and the same treatment can have different outcomes for different people with the same diagnosis (for example my husbands FCR failed completely, and he now has ongoing complications following that)
We are also in the UK, and I know we have different protocols and treatment plans from definitely USA, but probably also other places too.
I mean, realistically, never trust medical advice from strangers on the internet, but, we are here if you have more general questions, or need support.
