Hi Everyone! I am currently in my 27th year as a healthy HIV+ gay man that lives in a small super supportive beach town in Ogunquit, Maine. I have been an AIDS activist for as long as I can remember that currently helps organize the states largest AIDS Walk - 5K Run that now raises over $100,000.00 annually for the local ASO... We have our first event planning meeting this week for this years Walk which is on May 7th.. Our overall goal is to raise $125.000.00 dollars... Anyone in the area that would like to get involved in any aspects of the weekend would be greatly apreciated! It's a great weekend here in Ogunquit with all kinds of events that not only raise money and awerness but helps to break down stigma.. The love and support towards the HIV community felt over the weekend helps get me through the whole year... I have a team called TEAM JIMMY that I would love for any of you to join in person or virtually. Anyone registered that raises at least $40.00 dollars gets an awesome T shirt!!! The event is called The Southern Maine AIDS Walk 5K Run Weekend held in Ogunquit Maine in support of the Frannie Peabody Center. The website goes live tomorrow and I will add the link once it's up and running!!!
