It would be really helpful to know where you live. Treatments and tests differ in various parts of the world.

If you have toxoplasmosis I think you might have been living with HIV for some time without knowing about it. If this is so your immune system may be quite low and the amount of virus in your body quite high.

If this is the case your doctor will probably want to treat your HIV with three or more drugs. Quite often you may have two or three drugs in one pill. Once you have your HIV under control you might be able to go down to two drugs but it is better to take more to start with.

Do you have a partner or any children?
