Merck wins $2.54 billion in HCV drug patent infringement suit against Gilead

The results of the Merck v. Gilead lawsuit have finally been announced. In Delaware's U.S. District Court, a jury has ordered Gilead to pay Merck $2.54 billion for damage infringement. However, $2.54 billion isn't the final price, it may increase even more.
