Hair loss

Hi guys

Finished epclusa 3 months ago will have final bloods done after 6 months (april) and hopefully be signed off then, but I notice differences now, and that is I no longer get those awful very painful night cramps and alarmingly I lost a lot of hair during my infection but pleased to note its stopped falling and there's lots of wispy sticking up bits of new growth, so hopefully my hair will return to how it used to be, still have dry eyes a little bit, but that should also improve with time I hope.

I put on some weight with the epclusa that's proving a little difficult to shift grrr but working on it.

Yes it has started growing back slowly, so I am hopeful that in a couple of years it will look as good as new

have you noticed it coming back, with me stated thinning and patchy last month of treatment, especially on top and middle, same with you. was and is it growng back

for u. even 3 months off the med still thinning and patch did you have same

Hi, not really mine was fairly even all over but I lost lots of hair, its now very thin but the falling out has stopped and I've been off epclusa now 6 months but my hair fall started before the meds, but its definitely growing back as I find lots of short hairs sticking up and I know it will take time to get back a decent head of hair but I am confident it will return to its former glory.

I REMEMBER I WROTE THIS POST ABOUT HAIR LOSS ON EPCLUSA, THIS DEC. WILL BE 2 YEARS STILL HASN'T GROWN BACK LIKE I THOUGHT STILL VERY SLOW, MAY NOT GROW BACK.HOW DID YOU WORK OUT ON SAME PROBLEM

exact same thing with me legs pain was embarable, brain fog getting better now, the hair thing bumbs me out

hi, it may help to look at your diet as well, hair needs fat in the diet, also oily fish 3 times a week may help, cut back on sugar and processed food, there is a good diet on the internet called the hair loss diet, it may help you.

but yes its rubbish losing hair, mine is still very thin.

Been off epclusa going on 2 years this dec. i have 1/4'' hair stubs sticking out but doesn't seem to grow past that. has anyone had same problem and did it finally grow back. i think it has to do with age, a younger person in there 30's may get it back but late 50's i doubt it your opinion

i guess ridding of hep c is more important than losing are hair, but it still sucks
