Hi guys and apologies for neglecting u all esp mizzkent , navslife and alan234. Been a bit under the weather emotionally and quite depressed so back on anti depressants. I know I should be grateful virus is gone (pending 3 month check ) but can't seem to get motivated. I've also joined the mental health forum on this site - are any of u members? Taania🌞

🙋🏻♂️Hiya taania lovely to hear from you I was going to send out a mayday call...sorry your a bit low don’t be disheartened and low the weather doesn’t help you are solid and your health will pick up gradually,not on mental health forum personally I did have a look but I think this site is good for me team hep members are special👋I did have a bit of a low about the same time as you too expecting a miracle recovery youlle be ok I admire the way you did your treatment always here to talk xxx🌹
Hi Alan lovely as always to hear from u and words of wisdom. ... I think the weather def effects my mood and you're so right about the hepc group. Youlle be ok, I had a blip xmas time and the gp give me Prozac but they are in the bin now after making me worse all the stomach trouble came back....healthy eating and good friends prescription for you xxx😊

Hiya! Can I ask what treatment you went on and I'm sorry to see you feel not good. I've been on and off anti depressants for long time.
Hi Cara I finished 8 wk course of mavyret for geno 3a a couple of wks ago. The treatment went well although I got side effects about halfway through- horrible but bearable but I stopped taking my antidepressants and that was prob my mistake. I lost my partner last year and it's hit me double bad since and i feel so low about everything really. I've got plans but absolutely no motivation! Are u on the hepc treatment yet if u don't mind me asking and has it affected your mood ? Taania 🌞
Hi Tannia! My mood is kinda stable the now cuz I can get it bad. Week2 of maviret tommorrow. U have every reason to be down. Stopping taking anti depressants mucked my head up and been off them for months now n feel ok. Maybe it takes a while to adjust. Cod liver oil is good for depression. I take 2000mg per day. Try n keep it simple. Lavender oil on pillow so I'm breathing it in and smells lovely.
Thanks Cara. Sometimes we really are our own worst enemy. I was fine for a while then wham-everything hits like ton of bricks.

Hi lovely, once we're into spring you should feel better. I am struggling somewhat myself so feel better for reading your post, thank you, just putting a brave face on. Very Bad dreams and low. Must be the medication, that's what I tell myself. I think it's part of the recovery. don't apologise do what you have to. I ve been getting rid of my belongings, even the sofa has gone 😂thinking of you 😍😍😘😘
Oh my g! The dreams I'm having are very real and scary. I'm talking demonic.
I wake up sobbing sometimes, horrific so I avoid the news, sure it's just coming off chemicals they take time to wear off I guess & it depends on the person 😊 I get out of bed make chamomile tea, get pretty pictures in my head after half hour or more then change that nightmare into sweetest dreams 😍🌈🌈

I am determined to get a life. Thought it was me just being moody & wanting a selfish life but after your post I do believe it's the after effects. I think I've had enough of feeling guilty, was born feeling it and now I am concentrating on feeling happy or at least at peace with myself. There's a lot of ugliness in the world and just because we have or had this virus we don't need to punish ourselves. The virus has done that for us. I will always be a hider though, if you lived closer I'd let you have the cellar for a while. It's great maybe coz it's underground 😂😂😎😎😘

Hi, yeah since I finished my treatment of Zepatier last year, I've been really depressed, tired all the time and have had a strange numbness on the top of my head. It started after having a chest infection and then sinusitis. I've had
C. T scans and blood tests yet still is there. I have been considering using again, cos having this feeling in my head and constant pain from sinusitis for over 6 months now. Just think wtf was better off when i was using.
Hi ady,good to see you,and good you can tell people about zepatier treatment and your now being hep free,I also suffer chronic sinus problems and it really does wear you down mentally the pain is horrendous,I got a netti rinse syringe off eBay and use that twice a day ,make my own saline solution with bicarb and rock salt and plunge it through,but if I miss doing it the infection starts again,I know that wtf train of thought but I think of that feeling desperate to score and it soon goes good luck going forward you’ve obviously come a long way already so keep going 👍

Hi Alan. I'm hanging on and taking 1 day at a time. Getting plenty sleep and making sure I drink lots of water but appetite is not so good so I got some ensure drink. Glad I got u guys to offload to. Tania xx
