I have lost muscle strength and mass due to surgery for lung cancer and it's prolonged recovery time. Now I'm trying to rebuild my health.

That's great to hear you are recovering and rebuilding your health! I know people often get discouraged when exercise needs to be a slow process. What do you do to stay motivated?

I am feeling stronger and better with exercising as well as less pain in my shoulder with physical therapy directed exercises. Less pain and more energy are definite motivations.

I am not motivated to exercise at all. I used to for many years - jogged, did weights, exercise classes- and then came my first computer and my kids were at school all day and I was done with exercising. I know it's really good for a person to exercise but I've never been into exercising even before I grew up and even after years of exercising.

I know that feeling. I'm somebody who tries to get 30 minutes of exercise every day, but I wouldn't say I enjoy it. That is, unless I'm playing some kind of team sport, which makes it more tolerable.
