What is it like to be the partner of someone who's sustained a brain injury?

Often times the focus is so much on the person who was injured - we don't often acknowledge how hard it must be for the family, especially the closest person (mostly their partner). Curious of your thoughts.

its so difficult - u got the face - body - but not the total person

Oh this is so true. MVA was in 1990. I'm 68. I can't bear being a care giver any more. Saps your life completely. Meds are expensive. Money is not there.

look into their eyes - a true friend will give u a carry thru hug !!!!
