Still bouncing along going nowhere fast - sooner or later somebody somewhere will decide to help but I'm not going to hold my breath.

I'm okay. My chess game is still improving 29 years post TBI.I'm rated between 400 & 500. My cognitive therapist told me my cognition would never improve, and that I better just resign to the fact. I'd love to know where she is now, so that I could play her. She never struck me as being super bright.

I am having some issues with my support network though, ever since the pandemic. They keep quitting, and canceling on me, so I am ordering food today again using an app. Pre pandemic, I would see my support 9 hours a week. Now I am lucky if I see them 9 hours a month. I realize that there have been funding cuts. Still I'm quite sure that my service coordinator has not seen a reduction in her salary.

Covid not only caused death, and sickness (many of the people in who got it the worst were people with neurological issues,) but it also damaged the existing structure of society, hurting the most vulnerable the most. IDK if the US is ever going to recover.
