Dear Readers,

Is there any adjustment that can be made for this form of brain injury: Organic Catatonic Disorder other than isolation or intravenous tranquillisers?

Thank you,

Harold.

Hi Harold. I don't know anything about this so just did a search for information. There are mentions of mri therapy. Have you looked into this? There seems to be evidence of recovery for people who have had this. Good luck with your search and for full recovery. x

Welcome Harry. Like Elenor I haven't heard of this disorder so I too looked for online information and see it can be linked to many other conditions.

It might be helpful for you to speak to Headway staff by phoning the helpline on 0808 800 2244 (free call : office hours). They are more likely to have access to the type of information you need or, if not, might be able to put you in touch with someone who has.

If you feel able to tell us some more about your issues there might be someone who can identify with them and offer support/advice. We're always here to listen if you need company.

Best wishes, Cat x
