Could handling my dogs' dry food give me a problem? Non GF dog food and therefore cross-contamination perhaps? Not that I am eating it!

I always buy gluten free dog food when looking after the grandchildren's dog. Before that I felt slightly glutened the whole time. Dogs do lick people all the time and spread a general layer of spit and food around.

It is more expensive but worth it for me. It also seems to suit the dog, who has a bit of a delicate digestion, very well.

When we stop and think so many things start to make sense! Thanks Lois!

I didn't have a problem with Cross contamination as such, but as a lifelong eczema sufferer which disappeared when I switched to a GF diet, apart from on one hand made me think that the dog food could be causing me a problem.- with 6 of them and an occasional breeder, I needed an affordable food option, and found that in Simpsons Premium.

I now feed their grain free potato range - my dogs have never been in such good condition, and the eczema has disappeared from my hand :D

Hi, I think you could be right and should trust yourself, as you know your body and your reactions best. I have switched our dog to Orijen dog food. It is grain free.
